13th July 2004 LHS Executive Summary Scottish Borders Local Housing Strategy fulfils the statutory requirements of Section 89 of the Housing (Scotland) Act, 2001. This places a duty on each Scottish Local Authority to undertake a comprehensive assessment of housing needs and conditions and to produce a Local Housing Strategy (LHS) that shows how housing problems in their area will be tackled.

15th December 2004 Private Sector Housing Grant Supplementary Private Sector Housing Grant (PSHG) is a new grant mechanism, which has been introduced by the Scottish Executive and replaces the direct allocation of funding towards this activity by Councils from their corporate Capital Budget.
