It is built or adapted to give extra floor area, ramped or level access and will have bathroom adaptations and other features such as raised sockets. The Disabled Persons Housing Service (Borders) offers advice and information to disabled people either living in or wishing to live in the Borders area, and who have particular housing needs or housing problems.
